Enable WebGPU controls in settings. WebGL2 remains unchanged.
preview clip · live controls are optional about 6m to compile on a fast gpu; slower hardware can take longer. this browser needs the main-thread fallback, which may freeze the page.

chessgridfinal

#mtxplbl7
⑂ fork it{ } json

Concurrent chess entirely in GLSL, with high-contrast boards and state-driven glitch memory art. Grid side selects 1x1 to 20x20. Opening matrix forces 400 boards: White opening across columns, Black reply down rows, then random legal play. Focus row/column selects manual controls and inspection. Each board retains its own history, random stream and W/B/D counts; master pixels aggregate the grid. Auto-play starts enabled in Fastest mode at 8 moves per board per frame; timed speed defaults to 60 moves/second. Auto-repeat immediately starts the next game from the assigned opening and preserves counts. Restart all preserves counts; Reset statistics clears them. Changing grid or opening mode resets the cohort. Resize/recompile/seek clears buffers. 400 boards need 569200 pixels and 64x64 minimum dimensions; use 960x640 or larger.

export clip · render a video in your browser

Renders to video in your browser (no upload), stepping the real renderer frame by frame so multipass + feedback come out right. motion auto-animates the shader's own knobs — each export rolls a fresh take (🎲 re-roll, 🔒 to pin one you like). GIF is slower with a tighter length cap; MP4/WebM are faster. Some devices record in real time (noted below if so) — keep the tab visible.

caps: ≤1920 per side, ≤60fps, ≤18000 frames (GIF ≤300)
