Vein Atlas

#y2o38gx3
⑂ fork it{ } json

Vein Atlas: a dark mineral plain cracked open by living light. Three colonies drain their own territory through a flow-accumulation network computed on drifting fractal terrain, so a channel that carries load thickens and a channel that loses its nutrient withers and seals over into cold stone. Each colony carries a vigour that tracks its share of the nutrients currently on the plain, which widens or collapses its territory - so the three trade dominance and the plain is never twice the same. Rendered as a marched heightfield lit almost entirely by its own emission, with pulses running the fissures and the glow scattering into the haze above.

export clip · render a video in your browser

Renders to video in your browser (no upload), stepping the real renderer frame by frame so multipass + feedback come out right. motion auto-animates the shader's own knobs — each export rolls a fresh take (🎲 re-roll, 🔒 to pin one you like). GIF is slower with a tighter length cap; MP4/WebM are faster. Some devices record in real time (noted below if so) — keep the tab visible.

caps: ≤1920 per side, ≤60fps, ≤18000 frames (GIF ≤300)
