Cloudwalk

#preqlyie
⑂ fork it{ } json

A wooden boardwalk twisting, climbing and dropping along the grassy spine of a mountain that stands above a sea of clouds. The camera walks the path: planks underfoot and steps where it climbs, twisted hemp ropes dangling in deep swags from post to post, deep grass brushing the boards, the ridge falling away as a sheer cliff first on one side, then on the other, and nothing below but a white cumulus floor running out to the horizon under a deep blue sky. Lichen-crusted rocks and boulders sit in the grass along the crest, old claymores stand driven into the turf at odd angles as if a battle ended here, great gnarled bonsai pines grow out of the mountainside and reach over the drop, and flocks of birds cross far out over the clouds. SPEED is walking pace, CAM HEIGHT your eye height, BOB the step bob, CLOUD LEVEL how far below the path the cloud sea sits, PUFF how billowy it is, DRIFT the wind in it, SUN HEIGHT the time of day, GRASS how long and lush the grass grows, WIND how it sways (and the ropes with it), ROCKS how many stones lie on the crest, SWORDS how many claymores, TREES how many cliff pines, BIRDS the flocks, HAZE the air, RAILS the posts and ropes, EXPOSURE the overall light.

export clip · render a video in your browser

Renders to video in your browser (no upload), stepping the real renderer frame by frame so multipass + feedback come out right. motion auto-animates the shader's own knobs — each export rolls a fresh take (🎲 re-roll, 🔒 to pin one you like). GIF is slower with a tighter length cap; MP4/WebM are faster. Some devices record in real time (noted below if so) — keep the tab visible.

caps: ≤1920 per side, ≤60fps, ≤18000 frames (GIF ≤300)
